Customization

A wood-stock gun is custom by definition — the whole reason to commission one is to have it fitted. We adjust five things per build: handle angle (how the gun sits when the diver holds it horizontally), trigger reach (distance from grip to trigger blade — drives accuracy on a snap shot), rail height (clearance for the shaft over the muzzle), counterweight balance (how the muzzle tracks during a long swim), and butt shape (how the gun sits against the chest while loading).

We ask divers to come to the workshop in person if possible — fitting takes about 30 minutes — or send a video of yourself loading and aiming a comparable gun, plus key body measurements. Both work; in-person is more accurate.

The end result is a gun that points naturally where you look. After two or three dives most clients say they no longer notice the gun is in their hand — which is exactly the goal.
