One-off pieces designed around an idea — a piano bench, a hidden bar, a desk built into a window frame.
Sometimes the brief does not fit any catalogue category. A piano bench with hinged storage for sheet music. A wall unit that hides a fold-out guest bed. A desk built into the bay of a window so the morning sun falls on the keyboard. These are the projects we enjoy most — and they take more conversation up front.
Lead time on a custom piece is 6–12 weeks depending on complexity. We start with sketches, move to a 3D preview, and (for the most complex pieces) build a half-scale mock-up before committing to the real timber. The mock-up usually catches one or two ergonomic issues that no drawing reveals.
What we ask: the story (what problem does this piece solve?), reference photos (even of pieces you do not like — knowing what to avoid is just as useful), measurements of the room or the object it has to fit around, and a flexible deadline.
